Sydney Caen, a 14-year old cowgirl from Cordova, was crowned Miss Teen
Rodeo Tennessee 2011 at the 62nd Anniversary Franklin PRCA Rodeo on May 21, 2011.
Sydney is the daughter of Morris and Wendy Caen and has a sister, Ragan.
She is an 8th grade honor student at Gallaway Christian Academy. Sydney is a member of the Tennessee Junior Rodeo Association competing in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and breakaway roping. Sydney has competed in English equitation and hunter jumper classes. She also currently has a role in her school play, The Great America Time Machine.
Already an entrepreneur, Sydney has begun her own custom horse tack company called Zion Girl Tack and Bling. Her earnings have already purchased her a new barrel horse and now she is saving for a new horse trailer.
Sydney will attend several Tennessee Rodeos and community service events throughout her year as Miss Teen Rodeo Tennessee 2011 as she represents the Franklin, TN PRCA Rodeo and the Franklin Noon Rotary Club.
