   Ty Fitzgerald, a 20-year old cowgirl who makes her home in Collierville, was

crowned Miss Rodeo Tennessee 2011 on May 21, 2011 at the 62nd Anniversary

Franklin,TN PRCA Rodeo. 

   Ty's hobbies include visiting nursing homes to spend time with the elderly, working with problem horses, showing cutting horses, barrel racing, training and working with colts, and spending time with her family and friends. 

   Ty is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee at Martin where she is 

pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business.  Upon graduation, Ty would like to specialize in crop production helping America's farmers and ranchers maximize their yields and profits.

   As an ambassador for the sport of Rodeo, Ty will promote the State of Tennessee, the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association, the Franklin Rodeo and the Franklin Noon Rotary Club throughout the country.  "To become Miss Rodeo Tennessee 2011 is an amazing opportunity that any rodeo girl would be blessed to have.  I want to be a positive role model and an encourager for those I meet to support rodeo.  I feel support is a vital part of rodeo and I want to encourage others to support America's #1 Sport - Rodeo.  I am blessed to have the opportunity to represent something greater than myself.  This is a dream and an opportunity of a lifetime, I'm ready to get started." stated Ty after being crowned Miss Rodeo Tennessee.
